Titled 'Battle for Asia', the event to be held at Talkatora Stadium will feature three undercard bouts of four rounds each apart from the 12-round main contest.

The 24-year-old Goyat had won the title last year beating Filipino Nelson Gulpe and will be up against a rival who has an experience of nine bouts in the circuit.

Amandeep will square off former Federation Cup champion Sunil Sharma in the super featherweight division (59kg).

In the cruiserweight (91kg) category, multiple time national champion Kuldeep Singh will be up against Geetanand Singh.

In the super welterweight (70kg) category Dilbag Thakran will face Deepak Tanwar.

Goyat, who made the semi-finals of the Olympic qualifying event for pro boxers in July, exuded confidence ahead of defending his title.

"Whatever strategy he might have come with, I am sure I will be one up on him," he said.

Kite, on the other hand, said he would be eyeing a knockout.

"I am not going to let it stretch in his own backyard. I know nobody would be rooting for me so I am going to look for a knockout in the first six rounds," said the 26-year-old.
