NAGPUR: Ace city shuttler Rasika Raje will spearhead the Maharashtra challenge in the 38th Inter-State Junior (U-19) National Badminton Championship scheduled to be held at Chandigarh from November 29 to December 5.
Eighteen-year-old Rasika found the place in the five-member Maharashtra U-19 girls squad thanks to her brilliant performance in the current domestic season.

Former Olympian Nikhil Kanetkar has been named as the coach of the squad, while Nanded’s Mahesh Wakradkar will accompany the team as manager.
Maharashtra junior teams
Girls (Shafi Qureshi Cup): Rasika Raje, Revati Devasthale, Vaishnavi Iyer, Karishma Wadkar, Ahillya Harjani. Boys (Narang Cup): Vighnesh Devlekar, Chirag Shetty, Sushrut Karmarkar, Kabir Kanzarkar.
