The 20-year-old city shuttler missed the title by a whisker as the southpaw went down fighting in the women's singles final of the VV Natu Memorial All India Senior Ranking Badminton tournament which concluded at Modern-PDMBA Complex, Shivaji Nagar on Sunday.
Fourth seed Reshma (Air India) got the better of seventh seed Rasika 21-18, 16-21, 21-19 in an exciting final which lasted for 59 minutes.

Had Rasika won, it would have been her first All India title at the senior level.
Seventh seed Aditya Joshi of Air India rallied to down Subhankar Dey 7-21, 21-15, 21-17 in the men's singles final.
