Lokhande, Chati help RBI retain inter-bank badminton title

NAGPUR: Pranav Lokhande and Raghavendra Chati helped Reserve Bank of India (RBI) retain the team championship title in the Inter-Bank Badminton tournament which concluded at the YMCA Hall here on Thursday.
In a one-sided final, defending champions RBI steamrolled Bank of India (BoI) 2-0, thanks to a splendid performance by Lokhande and Chati.
The men's singles final was also played between the top RBI duo in which Lokhande edged out his colleague Chati in a three-game thriller.
Shweta Pandit ousted her RBI colleague Vishakha Zodape 15-6, 15-7 in the women's singles final.

Final: RBI bt BoI 2-0 (Raghvendra Chati bt Shrikant Pendse 21-15, 21-16; R Chati/Pranav Lokhande bt Swapnil Dhawale/Umesh Patre 21-10, 21-12).
