Jain gets top billing in SJAN Media Badminton tournament

NAGPUR: Last year's runner-up Ashish Jain of Lokmat has been given the top billing in the 11th SJAN Media Badminton tournament which will get underway here at the Subhedar Hall from Monday.
The Times of India pair Suhas Nayse and Madhav Soman will be top seeds in the men's doubles.
The three-day annual tournament will be jointly organized by the Sports Journalists' Association of Nagpur and Post Graduate Teaching Department for Physical Education, RTM Nagpur University.The tourney will be sponsored by Dr Dande Foundation. Matches will be played with Li Ning feather shuttles.
Former top Indian badminton star Uday Pawar will inaugurate the tournament on Monday at the Subhedar Hall at 11 am. However, the matches will begin at 9 am. The categories include men's singles, men's doubles and women's singles.
