Badminton 45 celebrates silver jubilee

MUMBAI: Badminton 45 has reached a significant milestone as they get set to celebrate their Silver Jubilee. The festivities kickoff in the form of the 19th G.D. Birla Memorial Masters Tournament organized by Badminton 45 at the Bombay Gymkhana from February 3 to 6.
On this momentous occasion, Saina Nehwal, Jwala Gutta, Ashwini Ponappa, national coach Pullela Gopichand and the greats of yesteryear will be honoured at a glittering, star-studded gala felicitation function on February 5.
Also, Olympic Gold Quest will receive Rs. 50,000 each on behalf of Nehwal and upcoming Guru Sai Dutt.
Among those to be felicitated with cash awards are former national champions Vimal Kumar, Madhumita Bisht, Aparna Popat and Sushila Rege-Kapadia.
