Hanuman! The Eternal Hero & An Inevitable Role Model
The capacity to face our lives in these times of extreme turmoil and unpredictable situations all over the world, we need extraordinary wisdom coupled with higher courage and dedication for a greater cause for ourselves and for the country as well as at the level of humanity. Let us see what we can learn from Shri Hanuman ji.
Hemasailabhadeham - His body is in the colour of golden hue, representing higher brilliance. His body radiates great energies and one who basks in His radiance shall derive greater physical health and higher wisdom to take right decisions in life. Learning to bask in his radiance is what all the worshippers (upasakas) practice in their lives. He throws such a brilliant light into our lives that we gain tremendous clarity to make the right decisions in the light that shines over us. Banking upon His grace would do all wonders. Just one has to taste it once, and He takes charge of our lives, especially when we do not know what to do.
Danujavanakrushanam - Hanumanji is the fire that burned all the rakshasas. He subdued them and eradicated all the rakshasic forces who were bent upon destroying the lives and beauty of the order in the world. There are also many negative pulls within our personalities that try (sometimes succeed also) to divert us from the true purpose of our lives. These inner unsolicited forces of destruction demotivate us from time to time and plant all negative thoughts of uncertainty and depression. By invoking Lord Hanumanji, we are well taken care of, both within and without. Of course, the power of invocation backed by faith provides us with greater insights and many experiences that one has to taste in one’s life.
Sakala guna nidhanam - A treasure house of all virtues. Values, when lived, become virtues. Values protect us first and form an impenetrable armour we can wear in our lives without hesitation.
Vanaranam adheesam - A great leader who can lead our restless minds by calming them from time to time, as he guided vanaras towards victory.
