Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal: Amid flood fury, heavy vehicles except essential services won't be allowed

he Delhi government has imposed water rationing and traffic restrictions in the city due to flooding. Three water treatment plants have been shut down due to the flooding, which has caused a water crisis in some parts of the city. People in these areas may face water shortages for a day or two. Heavy vehicles, except those providing essential services, will not be allowed to enter Delhi. This is to prevent traffic congestion and to allow for the smooth flow of relief supplies. There have also been issues with toilets and bathrooms at relief camps. These camps are being shifted to schools, where there are better facilities. The authorities are monitoring the situation closely, and they are taking steps to ensure the safety of the people. However, people living in low-lying areas are advised to be on alert and to evacuate if necessary.#delhirains #arvindkejriwal #delhifloods #delhinews Subscribe to The Times of India's YouTube channel: http://goo.gl/WgIatuFor daily news & updates and exclusive stories, follow the Times of IndiaFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/TimesofIndiaInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/timesofindia/Download the app: http://toi.in/3SLUCa80Follow TOI+ for well-researched and in-depth news and analysisFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/timesofindia...Twitter:https://twitter.com/TOIPlusInstagram:https://www.instagram.com/toi_plus/
