16 lakh attacks per minute on India’s G20 site during leaders’ summit: Cybercrime body

India’s official G20 website was attacked an average of 16 lakh times every minute while the group leaders’ summit was ongoing in New Delhi on September 09 and 10 last year, informed the government’s cybercrime body Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (14C).Addressing the press conference Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (14C) CEO Rajesh Kumar on January 03 said, “Per minute 16 lakh attacks were noted on the G20 website on the day of the summit. It started soon after the website was up and it peaked during the summit.”
