Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared an exciting update on the Vande Bharat sleeper train, posting a video of its speed trial on the Kota-Nagda section. The train reached its maximum design speed of 180 kmph during testing, impressively keeping glasses of water perfectly balanced without spilling, demonstrating its advanced stability and technological features. The Vande Bharat sleeper is a new all air-conditioned overnight variant of the popular Vande Bharat chair car trains, designed for long-distance travel. Two prototype rakes, manufactured by BEML, are currently under testing. Indian Railways plans a major transformation of long-distance rail travel, with over 200 Vande Bharat sleeper trains set to be introduced in the coming years, supported by multiple manufacturing programs to enhance comfort, speed, and convenience for passengers nationwide.#vandebharat #sleepertrain #indianrailways #highspeedtrain #ashwinivaishnaw #railtravel #overnighttrain #beml #railwayupgrade #traintechnology
