'Take Defence Lead By 2035: U.S. General's Big Advice To Europe Amid Russia-Ukraine War

A leading U.S. European commander has told lawmakers on a Senate committee that Europe's military should be able to take the defense lead by 2035 if they commit to 5% of Gross Domestic Product on defence spending."By the end of this decade, they will have made great progress toward that," said General Alexus Grynkewich, Supreme Allied Commander Europe, in response to a question from Missouri Senator Roger Wicker.
