While presenting the budget in Gairsain, Pushkar Singh Dhami highlighted major reforms in Uttarakhand, including the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code, a strict anti-cheating law, and the Uttarakhand Minority Education Act 2025. He also announced the termination of the Uttarakhand Madrasa Board from July 1, 2026, along with initiatives to remove encroachments from government land, develop ancient temples, and promote events like a high-altitude ultramarathon. The Chief Minister also noted that the state ranked first in a development index by NITI Aayog.
