BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Assam for a second consecutive term at the Veterinary College ground in Khanapara, Guwahati. The grand swearing-in ceremony witnessed the presence of top BJP leaders, party workers and supporters as the BJP government officially began its new term in the state. Sarma, who has emerged as one of the BJP’s most prominent faces in the Northeast, vowed to continue development, infrastructure growth and welfare initiatives across Assam.
