Ryan group partners with UK’s RGS Guildford to launch premium British schools in India

The Ryan Group of Institutions, India’s largest school network, has announced a landmark partnership with the prestigious Royal Grammar School Guildford (RGS Guildford), UK, to introduce British curriculum schools across India. The first institution under this collaboration, Royal Grammar School Guildford Bengaluru (RGSG Bengaluru), is set to open in September 2028.Founded in 1509, RGS Guildford is among the UK’s most respected schools, with a strong track record in A Levels and GCSEs, and alumni progressing to top global universities including Oxford, Cambridge, and Ivy League institutions. The school is also known for its robust extracurricular programs, blending academic excellence with holistic development.This marks RGS Guildford’s first foray into India, adding to its growing international footprint, which includes campuses in China, the UAE, Qatar, and Oman.The Bengaluru campus will span 14 acres in India’s tech and innovation capital. It aims to blend British academic standards with Indian cultural values, offering a comprehensive curriculum that integrates STEM, sports, the arts, and extracurricular activities. Students will also gain international exposure through RGS Guildford’s global network, with opportunities for exchanges, co-learning, and cross-campus collaboration.The Ryan Group, established in 1976 in Mumbai, operates over 150 schools across 20 states and 40 cities, educating more than 250,000 students with the support of 16,000 staff members.
