Vinayaka Chaturthi February 2024: Vinayaka Chaturthi has its own religious significance among Hindus. Devotees offer prayers to Lord Ganesha on this auspicious day. They observe fast and visit temple to seek blessings. Chaturthi falls twice in a month, during Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha. Vinayaka Chaturthi fast is observed on Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Magha. This month, Vinayaka Chaturthi fast is being observed today i.e., on February 13, 2024.

Vinayak Chaturthi February 2024: Significance

Vinayaka Chaturthi is considered auspicious and holds special significance for devotees to seek the blessings of the Lord. Lord Ganesha is known as the remover of all obstacles and the god of wisdom and prosperity. In Hinduism, Vinayak Chaturthi is a sacred day. Thsi day is dedicated to worship Lord Ganesha. Devotees observe fast and offer prayersand. People also seek blessings of Lord Ganpati. Vighna Harta is another name for Lord Ganpati. You should worship Lord Ganesha and ask for his blessings if you feel as though you are stuck in life and are unable to find a way out.

Vinayak Chaturthi February 2024: Puja Vidhi

1. Wake up early in the morning and take a bath.
2. Place an idol of Lord Ganesha on a wooden plank.
3. Light a diya with desi cow ghee, offer garland and Durva grass.
4. Devotees offer special prasad which is boondi laddoo.
5. Recite Bindayak Katha and chant Lord Ganesha Mantra.
6. Break your fast after offering water to Moon.
7. Eat sattvik food such as - kuttu poori, aaloo ki sabzi but your should use rock salt.
