Vinayak Chaturthi holds an immense religious significance in Hindu religion. Chaturthi occurs twice in a month during Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha. This month, Vinayak Chaturthi falls on Chaturthi Tithi during Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaishakha. Lord Ganpati Ji is known for removing obstacles from the life of devotees. People who worship him with immense devotion and have pure intentions, Ganesh Ji always protect them from difficult situations. He bless the devotees with happiness, prosperity, wealth, health and good fortune.\

Vinayaka Chaturthi 2024: Puja Vidhi

Wake up early in the morning and take a bath before starting puja rituals. Clean the home and puja room ans set up an altar and place an idol of Lord Ganesha. Light a diya with desi ghee and offer flowers, put haldi or yellow chandan tilak, offer modaks or laddoos, kheer, semolina halwa or anything which is home made. Chant Lord Ganesha Mantras 108 times. Seek blessings of Lord Ganesha and devotees are advised to perform the puja during puja time which is mentioned above. Recite Bindayak Kahani and then seek blessings of the Lord. Devotees should observe fast with pure intentions from dawn to dusk and stay away from all the tamasik activities.
