Rama Ekadashi 2024: SignificanceRama Ekadashi holds an immense religious and spiritual significance as this Ekadashi occurs during the month of Kartik Month. This whole Kartik month is purely dedicated to Lord Vishnu and devotees who observe fast on this day get relieved from all types of sins and sufferings. Rama Ekadashi is popularly known as Rambha Ekadashi and Kartik Krishna Ekadashi.
According to the Tami Calendar, Rama Ekadashi falls during the month of Puatassi and in Karnataka, Gujrat, Maharashtra, and Andhra Pradesh, this Ekadashi occurs during Ashwina or Ashwayuja Month. Devotees observe fast and offer prayers to Lord Vishnu with great devotion and dedication. It is believed that people who observe this Ekadashi, get relieved from all types of sins and sufferings. It is believed those who, are suffering from a sin of a Brahma Hatya or killing a Brahmin, get rid of this sin and attain salvation. Rama Ekadashi Vrat is equivalent to the thousands Ashwamedha Yagya.
Rama Ekadashi 2024: Puja Rituals1. Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath.
2. Clean the house and especially puja room.
3. Take an idol of Lord Vishnu and give a holy bath with panchamrit.
4. Place it on a wooden plank, Light a diya and offer Garland, Flowers, Sweets, Panchamrit and Tulsi Patra.
5. Spend whole day chanting Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaye.
6. In the evening, again worship Lord Vishnu by lighting diya and recite Vishnu Sahasranaam and Shri Hari Stotram.
7. Break your with fruits and milk products.
8. Devotees can break their fast on Dwadashi Tithi during Parana Time.
