Masik Shivratri has a great religious significance among Hindus. This day is dedicated to worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Lord Shiva is the giver and get easily pleased by seeing the devotion of his devotees.

Masik Shivtartri is the day when people observe fast and please Lord Shiva by performing various religious activities. On this auspicious day, people visit Shiva Temple and perform Rudrabhishekam and Jalabhishekam. It is believed that those who have Moon related issues in their birth chart, must keep this fast to get rid of all the issues.
Masik Shivratri Vrat 2024: Puja Vidhi
1. Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath.
2. Place an idol of Shiva Parivaar and light a diya with desi ghee.
3. Decorate them with white Mogra flowers.
4. Offer Shringar items to Goddess Gauri.
5. Devotees visit temple and perform Jalabhishekam to Shivalingam.
6. Chant Panchakshari Mantra and Maha Mrityunjaya.
7. In the evening also, one must perform puja to Lord Shiva by offering him rice Kheer.
