Kalashtami January 2024: Kalashtami is considered an auspicious day. This day is purely dedicated to worship Lord Kaal Bhairav and devotees observe fast and offer prayers to the lord on this day. Kalashtami January 2024: SignificanceKalashtami holds its own importance in Hindu Religion as people offer prayers to Lord Kaal Bhairav on this auspicious day of Kalashtami. Devotees observe fast on this auspicious day and visit Bhairav temple to seek blessings of Lord Kaal Bhairav.
Bhairav Baba is a fierce manifestation of Lord Shiva and it is believed that by worshipping Bhairav Baba on this particular day, get relieved from all types of sufferings. Kaal Bhairav also protects his devotees from fear, black magic, evil eye and evil forces. The one who surrender to him, get rid of five types of bad elements that are Kaam, Krodh, Lobha, Moh and Ahankaar.
Kalashtami January 2024: Puja Rituals 1. Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath.
2. Clean the house especially puja room and area of worship.
3. Take a wooden plank and place an idol of Lord Kaal Bhairav.
4. Light a diya with mustard oil and offer prayers to Bhairav Baba.
5. Most suitable time to offer prayers to Kaal Bhairav is evening at the time of Gaudhooli.
6. Devotees again worship Kaal Bhairav in the evening by lighting a diya with mustard oil.
7. Offer home made special prasad of Meetha Rott and halwa.
8. Recite Kaal Bhairav Ashtakam to seek blessings.
9. Many devotees visit Kaal Bhairav Temple.
