Ekadashi is one of the most auspicious day, which is dedicated to worship Lord Vishnu. On this very day, a large number of devotees observe fast and offer prayers to Shri Hari Vishnu with immense devotion and deep faith. Ekadashi falls twice a month during Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha. In this article, we are going to give you full information about Ekadashi which are going to occur in the month of February.

Ekadashi holds a great religious and spiritual significance among Hindus. This is one of the most auspicious and significant day to honour Shri Hari. On this very day a large number of Vishnu devotees offer prayers to him and seek his blessings.
Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath before starting puja rituals. Devotees should place a wooden plank and place an idol of Lord Vishnu and light a diya (earthen lamp) with desi ghee and also light incense sticks. Invoke the idol by chanting various vedic mantras then after that you must offer yellow flower garland and put yellow chandan tilak on the forehead of Vishnu Ji. Recite Vishnu Sahasranama, which is believed to remove past sins and bestow the devotees with prosperity and happiness.
On Ekadashi day, one should take bath only with water or you can mix gangajal in that water. Devotees should not pluck tulsi leaves on Ekadashi day, they are advised to pluck them a day before. Eating rice is prohibited on this day, but people must eat Rice on Dwadashi Tithi. Do not say harsh words to anyone.
