Ekadashi in December 2023: Significance

Ekadashi has a great religious significance in Hindu religion. Devotees observe fast and offer prayers to Lord Vishnu with great devotion and dedication. It is believed that those who observe this fast with all their heart, get relieved from all the sufferings and problems and Lord Vishnu give them place in Vaikuntha Dham.

Lord Vishnu is the preserver of this universe and the one who bless his devotees with happiness, prosperity, wealth and all the desired wish fulfillments. Devotees observe fast whole day and then eat fruits or milk products in the evening but the fast is fully broken on Dwadashi Tithi during Parana Time.

Ekadashi in December 2023: Puja Rituals

1. Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath.
2. Clean your house and then puja room.
3. Take a wooden plank and place Lord Vishnu's idol and shree yantra.
4. Light a diya with desi ghee, adorn him with flowers and offer sweets and Tulsi Patra.

5. Tulsi Patra is one of the most important herb which is offered to Lord Vishnu and without offering this herb, Puja is considered incomplete.
6. In the evening also, must offer prayers to Lord Vishnu by offering prepared bhog prasad and panchamrit.
7. Perform Puja and aarti and then you can eat fruits.
8. Ekadashi fast is fully broken on Dwadashi Tithi.
