Devotees are going to celebrate the final day of Navratri and worship Goddess Siddhidatri as the festival comes to closure. Maha Navami is another name for this day. On this auspicious day, devotees offer prayers and seek blessings of Maa Siddhidatri. Navratri means celebrating nine days and nine nights. Navratri Day 9 2025: Significance
According to Hindu scripture, the goddess Siddhidatri is believed to have emerged on this auspicious ninth day of Navratri. Goddess Siddhidatri was pleased by the prayers of all the gods and deities and gave them the blessing that Maa Durga would always come to their aid in times of need and protect them from demons. Maha Navami is a day that is observed by following various rituals and ceremonies around the nation. This is a really important day. It is also believed that those, who sincerely and devotedly appease Goddess Siddhidatri will receive happiness, prosperity, and fulfillment of all the desires. Siddhidatri means the giver of all the siddhis. Tantriks and Sadhaks perform special puja to please Maa Siddhidatri to attain Siddhis.

Poori chane and semolina or soojhi halwa should be given to Goddess Siddhidatri on the day of Navami.
Navratri Day 9, 2025: Puja Rituals
Wake up early in the morning and take a holy bath. After that prepare halwa poori chana and sabzi and invite nine small girls at home along with one languriya or a little boy. Then wash their feet, put tilak and tie a sacred red thread or a mauli around their wrist. Breaking the coconut is the main part of the ritual which you have kept for all nine long days. Offer bhog prasad to Goddess Durga first then serve food to all the little girls along with gifts and coconut pieces. Once they finish their food, seek their blessings by touching their feet. After completing all the puja, devotees can break their fast and eat bhog prasad.
