Lalita Saptami 2023: Lailta Saptami holds a great importance in Hindu religion. This day is purely dedicated to Goddess Lalita Devi. This day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Goddess Lalita. She is considered as the dear friend of Goddess Radha Rani and Lord Krishna. She was regarded as the most devoted Gopi. Birth anniversary of Shri Lalita Devi is going to be celebrated on Saptami Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada. This will be celebrated on September 22, 2023.

Lalita Saptami has a great significance among Hindus. On this auspicious day Goddess Lalita was born. She is popularly known as one of the eighth Gopi who was a great devotee of Radha Rani and Lord Karishna. Lalita Devi was one of the Ashta Sakhis. It is believed that Lalita Devi was fourteen years eight months and twenty seven days older than Radha Rani. She was the eldest among all. Lalita devi was very near and dear to Radha Rani and she was also considered as most loyal Sakhi of Radha Ji.

Lalita Saptami 2023: Puja Rituals

1. People get up early in the morning and take a holy bath.
2. Devotees must worship Lord Ganesha first.
3. After that devotees offer prayers to Goddess Lalita, Goddess Parvati and Shaligram Ji.
4. They offer coconut, rice, sandalwood paste and milk .
5. Devotees observe fast from sunrise to sunset.
6. Devotees can have fruits to break their fast.
