Significance of Kartik Amavasya
According to Hindu Scriptures, Lord Krishna personally clarified the meaning and significance of Kartik Amavasya during the Mahabharata. according to him, this days holds great spiritual and religious significance. Worshiping me on this day will prevent planets (Grah Dosh) from having a detrimental impact on a person's life. It is customary to light lamps on this day to commemorate Lord Ram's return to Ayodhya following a 14-year exile. Another revered day for honoring the forefathers is Kartik Amavasya.

5. To keep family members away from negativity, light lamps in the house and temple.
