Festivals in March 2024: March is one of the most significant month for festivals. March month marks the end of winter season and this month is considered as the most special month as many important festivals are going to occur in this month. For Hindus, this month is full of observances. For Muslims also, this month is going to be special as Ramadan is going to start from the second week of the month. The exact date of Ramadan festival will be calculated according to the Moon sighting in Saudi Arabia.

Now as we have entered in the month of Phalgun so during the first week of march, people will celebrate Yashoda Jayanti, Bhanu Saptami, Shabari Jayanti, Kalashtami, Janaki Jayanti and Vijaya Ekadashi. As we enter in the second week of the March then all the Shiva devotees must be happy to know that their one of the most prominent festival is coming, which is Maha shivratri and people will celebrate this day with great grandeur.

From March 16, Holashthaks are going to start and on March 25, people from across India will celebrate one of the most colourful festival, which is Holi and on the same day Vasanta Purnima fast will also be observed. After celebrating this festival another most significant festival will be there which is Ranga Panchami. For Hindu devotees, the month of March is most important month.
