Festivals in June 2024: According to the Gregorian Calendar, the month of June is going to start and the scorching summer is already on its peak and people are advised to take a proper care of their health and keep hydrated during this severe hot weather as the temperature is going high day by day. As per Hindu Calendar, Jyestha Month has started now and this month is considered auspicious so most of the people utilize this month by performing various puja rituals. So let's know about the monthly observances in the month of June.

First day of the month is starting with an auspicious festival of Telugu Hanuman Jayanti then Apara Ekadashi which is dedicated to honour Lord Vishnu. Pradosh Vrat is a monthly observance and Vat Savitri Vrat and Shani Jayanti are falling on the same day. Jyestha Amavasya will also one of the most important day to honour ancestors. Mithun Sankranti will also be observed when Sun will change its position to Gemini.

One of the most sacred day when Goddess Ganga descended on earth occurs in this month. Nirjala Ekadashi which is one of the major Ekadashis. Jyestha Purnima Vrat will also be celebrated in this month. Kabirdas Jayanti and Krishna Pingala Sankasthi Chaturthi will also be observed.
