What men really want! 5 things husbands secretly wish from their wives

Men may not say it loud (or at all), but they too crave for more than just bare minimun in a relationship. They are not really complicated creatures. But there are certainly things they have not worn on their sleeves. Your husband do quitely yearn for certain things (besides watching the match all day) however, he may not necessarily say it. Here are five things your husband secretly wishes you knew.

2/6

Compliment him

Women aren't the only ones who love a compliment. Men love it to. Yes, they may not necessarily pretend like it matters. But it truly does. They are the ones who often cary the weight of expectations, and constantly keep wondering if they are doing enough. So, if your partner is really been fabulous, tell him that. It would make him feel better. Tell him you're proud of how hard he works. Tell him, he looks fab. Tell him, how brilliant partner or father he is. Just tell him.

3/6

See his efforts

He did the dishes. He drove kids to the school, without being asking. He fixed the leaky tap even before you noticed. And yet no appreciation. Even though they may not necessarily demonstrate it, men crave for appreciation, especially from their partners. Acknowledging his efforts, big or small, and appreciating it would mean the world for him. The more valued he feels, the more he wants to show up for you.

4/6

Brag about him

Now this may sound odd. But yes, sing your praises to others. Your man would be on cloud nine when you brag about him. Tell your friends, your family, or even a stranger at a party what an incredible man your husband is. There is something deeply satisfying about that. So go ahead and brag about this lipsmacking curry he makes, his skills at work, or his perseverance. For him, it’s nothing less than winning a Nobel prize!

5/6

Don’t punish him for his past mistakes

Dear wives, repeat this, after me. Past is past. You have heard it before. But please listen this time. Let the past stay in the past. That’s exactly what your man wishes for. All of us have made mistakes in the past. Sure some have more gravitas than the other. But may be its better to not replay them. Your husband forgot the anniversary. He perhaps didn’t keep his promise. Or he did exactly what you asked him not to. All true. But know this. Replaying won’t fix it. And believe us, he knows it was his fault. Men would rather prefer genuinely forgiven than being granted a temporary pardon.

6/6

Flirt with him

Remember the early days when you would steal glances? The naughty messages you would exchanged during dinner conversations with your friends. Guess what? Your husband misses that version of you. The one who would flirt with him shamelessly! If you have become all rigid, loosen up a between. Send him a flirty message in between. Exchange a playful wink while in the crowd. These little things will also reignite the spark. He would read those flirty messages as, ‘I still chose you and find you attractive’. That’s a wonderful thought to have.
