By Susmita SameeraThe film opens with Deepak (Vinay Vasudev) being chased by a bear in a dense jungle. Even in this high-stress moment, he calmly observes and studies the animal’s behaviour, hinting at his deep connection with wildlife. The story then introduces his background—raised by adoptive parents: Narayan (Bala Rajwadi), a retired forest officer, and Padma (Harini Shreekanth), a clinical psychologist.Deepak is passionate about wildlife photography. On an ordinary day, he meets Divya (Disha Ramesh), a woman who, like him, grew up as an orphan—but without the affection he received. The two quickly form a bond and eventually marry.During a photography trip to the Sirsi forest area, their seemingly peaceful lives take a turn. An unexpected incident injures both and leaves them separated in different parts of the jungle.Running parallel is the story of Karthik (Nagendra Urs), a forest officer determined to combat poaching and forest crimes. The film also touches upon tribal cultures and traditions. Whether Deepak and Divya reunite—and what secrets the forest conceals—forms the crux of the narrative.Set mostly in lush, green surroundings, the forested landscape provides a naturally immersive backdrop. While the premise is intriguing and there are occasional surprises, the story struggles to maintain engagement. Characters repeatedly call out each other's names in initial encounters, which becomes tiresome. Technically, the film disappoints—CGI animals are particularly poor and unconvincing, and other production elements also fall short. Performances are generally decent but lack emotional depth. Overall, it may not leave a lasting impression on fans of the adventure thriller genre.
