Today in world there is scarcity of fresh water already and no time soon our future Generations will not even have fresh water for survival.Fresh water is one of the essential of life,we can also say its bascic for survival just like oxygen,food,excretion.Fresh water most important role is for drinking if its not there for drinking a person may die.
Today we have enough water so we don’t mind using it.Its not that we don’t care for future or environment but the thing is there is no option,we can’t just stop using it as water have many other roles to in mordern lifestyle.
Fresh water is not a natural resource like Oil that we use it completely from earth then we find another resources for fuel.We develop with time and find ways to solve issues like we found replacement of oil into electric vehicle and soon people will adapt it.Now in case of water this can’t happen if its finished humans and other organisms may perish.No one wants that to happen so I came up with a solution which is sea water harvesting.
Fresh water daily consumption for drinking on average by a person is 3.5 liters whereas fresh water used by a person in average is 350 liters daily.Now on an average there are 4 people in family and they drink around 14 liters of water in a day but family is consumption is 1400liters daily.14 liters is essential for survival but rest 1386liters is not for basic survival in these you won’t be surprised to know majorty of water is used in flushing toilets and other not so important things.So my Idea is Harvest sea water for not so important things,laying pipeline extracting water from sea and bringing to cities,if humans get alternative we will surely use,we are no cruel people who will let future perish due to our present actions we just lack options.
If we talk about sea water it is abundant and scientists say its increasing due to global warming,so whats wrong in using something which is extra over somthing which is already getting less.May be due to this step water can sustain for longer ,rivers may flourish again and future generations and organisms bless us for the action we take today.
good idea but u must suggest pragmatic ways to sea water harvesting.
