The sad part of democracy in India today is that Modi has no opposition at the national level. The Congress Party which won 53 seats in the last Lok Sabha Polls may not even get 20 in the next unless the Party ruthlessly show the Gandhis the door. Many Congress stalwarts like, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Tom Vadakkan, Khushboo etc have defected to the BJP. Sachin Pilot is waiting in the corridor. Another goof up by Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot will defect to the BJP.
The one person who can very well take up the reins is Capt. Amrinder Singh, the best person to lead the party under the present circumstances.
