Health is wealth

Health is wealth. Good health is the first criteria for happiness. This fact cannot be denied by anyone.

In spite of having full knowledge of the importance of good health, we notice many of us are giving other priorities maybe because of the changed lifestyle over the health considerations.

The average age of people has gone up. Most people are on medications. Too many kinds of diseases have increased. There are many diseases due to the presence of the virus. Currently, the whole world is suffering from covid- 19 and there is no medicine available as of now.

As a country, we need to upgrade and spread the health care facilities to enable all people to easily reach and avail the required facilities. This is a priority for us.

The further high focus should be on research and development activities so that we are at least at par with the world in medication aspects.

In view of the above, it is suggested that we must have institutions like AIIMS in each state and throughout the country. We may have AIIMS say per one crore people.

In the absence of insufficient facilities, people are deprived to get the right treatment. Many people go out of the country for their treatment which is too expensive and outflow of foreign exchange.

Governments and their other organisations are also allowing treatment outside India. It is suggested that treatment outside India at the cost of people must be restricted except say, president, prime minister, chief of the army and Chief Justice of India. This suggestion is not with the intention to deprive them of getting the right treatment but with the right intentions.

The decision like above will encourage immediately to upgrade medical facilities within the country and also to achieve the concept of SELF RELIANT INDIA.

Wish India safe and healthy.
