'Damini' app to check lightning activities in the skies

More than 1,600 people have died due to lightning strikes in the country from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021. Union minister Dr Jitendra Singh today informed the Lok Sabha that the a mobile app 'Damini' has been developed to monitor lightning activities in the skies.
