Covid-19: Centre not supplying enough Remdesivir, says Telangana health minister

Telangana health minister Rajendar alleged that the Centre is not supplying enough Remdesivir to the state. The minister said the Centre alone is responsible if any deaths occur due to lack of oxygen supplies. Minister Eatala Rajendar expressed dissatisfaction at the centre’s response when Telangana sought four lakh vials of Remdesivir for treatment of Covid patients. “We are extremely sad. We were shocked when we got a letter from the centre about the number of vials that had been allocated to us,” he said.
