The playful child can move around on his own now.

Dr Amarnath Agarwal of Chennai’s Agarwal Eye Hospital, who carried out the transplant surgery, visited Islamabad recently to see for himself how the child was doing.
On his return, Dr Agarwal said on Monday: “I was very happy to learn that Talha had achieved perfect vision and would now be able to read and write like a normal child. The eye transplant was made possible because of a Chennai donor M Venkatesh and what made me particularly proud was the fact that an Indian donor helped a Pakistani boy to see the world.

Dr Agarwal said the Pakistani eye surgeons are amazed at the skills of the Indian surgeons.

<formid=367815></formid=367815>
