RAJKOT: A local builder on Sunday said he would gift a plot of land each to the members of the World Cup-winning Indian cricket team.
Bhupat Bodar, who owns about 80 acres of land in Talsar on Mumbai-Ahmedabad national highway, said he would give a plot of 300 sq yards to each member of the squad, including coach Gary Kirsten.
The BCCI has already announced cash reward of rupees one crore to every team member, Rs 50 lakh each to support staff and Rs 25 lakh to selectors after India beat Sri Lanka in the final by six wickets in Mumbai on Saturday.
