Indians celebrate Republic Day in Davos

: Indians attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting here on Friday celebrated Republic Day and sang the National Anthem.

The function was organised by the Indian Embassy in

Switzerland

and Invest India.

Union ministers Piyush Goyal and Dharmendra Pradhan and DIPP Secretary Ramesh Abhishek, among others, were present.

India celebrated its 69th Republic Day with a grand parade in New Delhi, watched by thousands of people along with 10 ASEAN leaders who attended the event as chief guests.

Unprecedented in India's history, leaders of all 10 ASEAN countries today attended the Republic Day parade at the majestic Rajpath in New Delhi.
