' roadshow on June 25 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. Indian delegation for the roadshow was led by Meenakshi Sharma, director general of tourism ministry of Tourism of India and was accompanied by around 30 members of Indian Tour Operators Association (IATO), state government representatives, hotel industry and attended by area tour operators and Boston's esteemed dignitaries and community leaders.

Incredible India roadshow

, Boston was part of a tour across Canada and the US (June 24-28), with stops in Vancouver, New York, Washington DC, Seattle and San Francisco. The United States is one of the top three source countries in the percentage share of Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTAs) in India and is the second highest source country with 11.21 per cent share of total FTAs.

There was a presentation by Meenakshi Sharma on 'Incredible India' with attention to exposing

Indian-American

children to India's vast offerings of culture, heritage, outdoor activities (hiking, mountaineering, boating etc) and food. Air India also gave a presentation of their global services.

Prior to the start of the programme, guests and attendees could speak to tour operators about a trip to India. Following the presentations, guests were treated to a delicious Indian meal and cultural performance by the local Indian-American community with closing remarks by Boston event supporter Abhishek Singh.
