No marked rise in science cut-offs
NEW DELHI: Hindu College has a somewhat steadier cut-off list than others, especially in Commerce and Economics. "The marks are on the higher side. We have analysed our applications and have kept 93.5% for Economics and 93.5% for B Com.
This is 2.25% more than last year. The rest of the subjects like Maths and BSc are pretty much the same as last year," said vice principal Anil Kumar.
At Hindu too, it is possible that there will be no second list.
In fact, the unusually high rush for Commerce has "consciously" driven students to Ramjas College, according to principal Rajendra Prasad.
"Every year, cut-offs of St Stephen's and SRCC determine the way the rest of the cut-offs will go. This year, with cut-offs being so high, many students have applied to Ramjas consciously wanting to study here and not as a back-up," he said.
