Niki Walia, Karan Oberoi, Smriti Irani: TV actors we have missed on small screen

Some of the most popular shows on Indian Television have had actors who carried their roles brilliantly on their shoulders through the years. And now that they are missing from action, we want them to make a comeback on the small screen soon. Be it Ram Kapoor, Mandira Bedi or Niki Walia, they all have charmed the audience with not just their acting talent but also their charisma. Here are a few unforgettable names we can't wait to see again on TV:
2/12

Niki Walia, Karan Oberoi, Smriti Irani: TV actors we have missed on small screen

Niki Walia: Niki Walia quit acting at the peak of her career to settle down in the UK. But she's all set to make a return to the small screen. Her comeback trail will see her going all bad, a streak she was never associated with in her previous outings, including the iconic role of Dr Simran in 'Astitva... Ek Prem Kahani'. She plays a negative character in her comeback show titled 'Ishq Gunaah', which also stars Sanjay Kapoor.

Karan Oberoi: Karan Oberoi is back from his seven-year-long hiatus to do what he does best --- acting. Last seen in 'Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin', he will return to the small screen with a thriller. Along with returning to the small screen, Karan is also making his debut in Bollywood -- he has co-produced and acted in a film titled 'Strawberry Point'.

Niki Walia, Karan Oberoi, Smriti Irani: TV actors we have missed on small screen

Smriti Irani: The lady needs no introduction. No one could have played the role of Tulsi Virani like she did. In no time, Smriti Irani was a household name for the innocence with which she enacted her character on the small screen. Even though she has switched over from the entertainment industry to politics, we wouldn't mind her making an appearance on TV yet again. Smriti Irani is currently the Textile Minister.

Karan Singh Grover: He is one handsome hunk of the small screen who began his acting career with Balaji Telefilms' Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi on MTV India. However, he became an icon of sorts with serials such as 'Dill Mill Gaye' and 'Qubool Hai'. Karan's recent shift to movies with 'Alone' is making us miss him on television and he surely tops the list for his good looks, chiseled body and acting talent.

Niki Walia, Karan Oberoi, Smriti Irani: TV actors we have missed on small screen

Mandira Bedi: Mandira Bedi's portrayal of a strong and independent woman in Shanti - Ek Aurat Ki Kahani is a role which is not easy to forget. It won the hearts of millions for its subject and the way Mandira essayed her part. Hence, it would be a treat to see the lady again with a similar role on the small screen. Mandira was last seen as an ATS officer in season 1 of 24.
7/12

Niki Walia, Karan Oberoi, Smriti Irani: TV actors we have missed on small screen

Ram Kapoor: Ram Kapoor played Jai Walia in the hit television serial 'Kasamh Se' and made way into the hearts of the viewers with his charm and effervescence. More recently, he returned with a refreshing role in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain opposite Sakshi Tanwar and he received the same reception from the audience as before. It's been quite long since his last stint on TV and that makes us miss him on the small screen.
8/12

Niki Walia, Karan Oberoi, Smriti Irani: TV actors we have missed on small screen

Rajeev Khandelwal: Rajeev rose to fame with his role in 'Left Right Left' and became a teen sensation post the show. Also, Kashish and Soojal's (played by Rajeev) chemistry in Ekta Kapoor's 'Kahin Toh Hoga' could still give relationship goals to many. How wonderful it would be to see Rajeev back in a romantic show on the small screen!
9/12

Niki Walia, Karan Oberoi, Smriti Irani: TV actors we have missed on small screen

Rohit Roy: Owing to shows like 'Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand' and 'Swabhimaan', Rohit Roy made a name for himself in the television industry. Besides working on the small screen, Rohit has also acted in Bollywood movies like 'Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena' and 'Plan', among others. It seems that the actor has shifted gears now and there seems no return. But that shouldn't stop us from being his loyal fans, and wanting to see him more often on TV.
10/12

Niki Walia, Karan Oberoi, Smriti Irani: TV actors we have missed on small screen

Surbhi Jyoti: Didn't you love watching her on the much-loved show 'Qubool Hai'? Surbhi created a niche for herself through her beautiful portrayal of Zoya in the long running show on Zee TV. She won many awards for her performance in the serial. Surbhi is also a multi-talented girl as she has spread her wings in regional theatre and films as well. We wouldn't mind a repeat of her wonderful chemistry with Karan Singh Grover in Qubool Hai. What say?
11/12

Niki Walia, Karan Oberoi, Smriti Irani: TV actors we have missed on small screen

Sushant Singh Rajput: Bollywood seems to be eyeing the best from the TV industry. And Sushant is an example of that. We have swooned over the actor for his killer looks and superb acting skills in Zee TV's Pavitra Rishta (which also fetched him an award for his performance), but the actor seems to be on a different flight these days. Even though movies interest him now, and we do get to see him playing amazing parts in films like Kai Po Che and Shudh Desi Romance, but we miss seeing him on daily shows as well.
12/12

Niki Walia, Karan Oberoi, Smriti Irani: TV actors we have missed on small screen

Mohit Sehgal: Mohit Sehgal is best known for his role of Samrat Shergil in Miley Jab Hum Tum and since then he has been on a roll with shows like Mujhse Kuch Kethi Yeh Khamoshiyaan, Qubool Hai and Sarojini. And with each he proved his mettle as an actor. We loved his chemistry with Sanaya Irani in Miley Jab Hum Tum and can't wait for him to recreate the same magic yet again.
