Rajasthan Royals team feel at 'home' in Ahmedabad
AHMEDABAD: That Ahmedabad is a cricket frenzy city is a fact that needs no evidence. And why only Ahmedabad, the whole state share similar passion. City cricket enthusiasts got their share of thrilling cricket with the IPL Governing Council allotting four Rajasthan Royals' 'home' matches at the Motera Stadium.
A few days ago, Rajasthan Royals' team accepted that they are out of 'home' Jaipur but feel comfortable playing at Motera Stadium.

RR skipper Shane Watson, while replying to a query, had said, "Yes, we would have loved to play in front of our home crowd but this city has given us ample support," he said. Mentor Rahul Dravid step further by saying that Ahmedabad can actually 'adopt' them as their home team. "Since Ahmedabad does not have a team of their own, they can come out and support our boys full-fledgedly and adopt us as their team," he said.
Well, Amdavadis have not disappointed them either. They have gone out to support them defying heat and high security factor as well. With two more matches to go and RR having good track record at Motera, one can only hope to see the boys in blue winning both the ties.
