Neeraj Chopra at Diamond League Final Live Updates: Two-time Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra is set to compete in the Diamond League Finals in Zurich on Thursday, aiming to reclaim the trophy he won in 2022. The Indian javelin thrower, who achieved a season-best throw of 90.23m in Doha, will face tough competition from Germany's Julian Weber and defending champion Anderson Peters of Grenada in the seven-man final.

The Diamond League Finals features 32 events spread across two days in Zurich. Six events are being held on Wednesday at Sechselautenplatz, while the remaining 26 events, including men's javelin, will take place at the Letzigrund Stadium on Thursday.

The winners of each event will be crowned this year's champion, receiving a Diamond League trophy, prize money between USD 30,000 to USD 50,000, and wild card entries to the upcoming World Championships in Tokyo.

Chopra qualified for the Finals in fourth place with 15 points after competing in only two of the four Diamond League meetings that featured men's javelin throw. He opted to skip the Silesia and Brussels legs in August.

The competition features a strong lineup including Kenya's 2015 world champion Julius Yego, Keshorn Walcott of Trinidad and Tobago, Andrian Mardare of Moldova, and Simon Wieland of Switzerland as the host country's entry.
