My Name is Raja follows the couple Raja and Jessie, who remain childless after years of marriage. They eventually decide to adopt a little girl from an orphanage. Just when they think that their family is finally complete, they start having strange experiences. Unable to figure out what's wrong, Raja seeks divine intervention, but that doesn't solve the problem. And then, to make matters worse, Jessie dies under mysterious circumstance. Shattered by the loss of his wife, Raja vows to avenge her. While the story sounds interesting, onscreen, this romantic thriller is far from it and falls flat. Except intimate scenes, of which there are plenty, the director has failed to capture the bond between a husband and wife. Even the music is average. Amateurish acting by the lead actors fails to lift the flagging story line. Watch it at your own risk.
