A school boy, named Ashu, and a differently-abled person, known as Mahesha, who escapes from the hospital, share a common goal – to meet their mother. They, however, do not have enough money to meet their goal. They seek help from a lorry driver, an auto-rickshaw driver, two army men and a village girl. On the other hand, the cops are looking out for Mahesha, who has murder charges against him. Saagutha Doora Doora highlights the plight of children who are separated from their mother. The narrative’s emotional journey, which touches upon the mother-and-son sentiment, makes an impression. The treatment of the subject could have been a lot better, though.
