Huawei Watch with 1.4-inch circular AMOLED display launched in India, priced at Rs 22,999
NEW DELHI: Chinese telecom company Huawei has launched its first smartwatch in India. The company has priced the Huawei Watch at Rs 22,999 and it will be exclusively available on Flipkart and will hit the retail stores later.
The Huawei Watch features a 1.4-inch circular AMOLED display with 400x400 pixels resolution. The device sports a scratch-proof sapphire crystal lens and has cold-forged stainless steel frame. It comes equipped with a built in heart rate monitor and IP67 rating which makes the smartwatch water resistant.
The smartwatch runs on Android Wear operating system and is compatible with smartphones running on Android 4.3 (and above) and iOS. It houses a 300 mAh battery and comes with Bluetooth, microphone and speaker support. The wearable device is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 512NM of RAM and 4GB eMMC.
Last year, Huawei launched its fitness band dubbed as Huawei Band Z1 in India at a price of Rs 5,499. The Honor Band Z1 has a circular design with brushed metal bezel around the corners and a 1.06-inch Plastic OLED display at the center. The band is dust proof and water resistant and is IP68 certified.
The band works in tandem with MyFitnessPal app which works on both Android and iOS devices, and helps users track activity, steps and sleep duration and quality. Besides the fitness features, the band also offers features such as call reminders, SMS notifications, calorie consumption tracker, and calendar.
It includes a 70mAh battery that offers three day battery life as per the company. It has a rubber strap and comes in black, white and beige colour variants
