ZTE Axon 7 launched in China, coming to India soon

NEW DELHI: ZTE has launched its latest high-end smartphone in China. Dubbed Axon 7, the smartphone is the improved variant of last year's Axon.
The ZTE Axon 7 will come in Ion Gold and Quartz Gray color options, and three hardware configurations - 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage priced at $442, 4GB RAM/128GB storage priced at $502 and 6GB RAM/128GB storage priced at $625. The phone will go on sale in China from June 2 and will soon be launched in India as well.
Talking about the specifications, the ZTE Axon 7 has a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1440x2560 pixel resolution. Powering the device is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM. It offers 64GB/128GB of internal storage, further expandable using microSD cards of up to 128GB in size.
The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and sports a 20MP rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8MP front snapper for selfies. It also has a fingerprint sensor and dual audio speakers powered by Dolby Atmos. The device houses a 3,250 mAh battery with support for Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology.
Recently, ZTE launched a new smartphone in the US. Dubbed the Grand X Max 2, the device is priced at $200. However, there's no information on its pricing or availability in India yet.
The highlight of the smartphone is its dual-rear camera setup that delivers images with more sharpness and depth. There is also a manual mode that lets users tweak the settings and click images as per their convenience. The handset has 13MP auto-focus and 5 fixed focus rear cameras with LED flash, along with a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.
