Xiaomi today announced that its flagship Mi 5 smartphone will be available on Amazon India, Flipkart,
Snapdeal and
Tata Cliq
, along with its own online store - Mi.com, without flash sales.
The smartphone was launched in March at a price of Rs 24,999. Xiaomi has only introduced the 3GB RAM/ 32GB ROM variant of Mi 5 the country.
Talking about the specifications,

flaunts a 5.15-inch Full HD display of 1020x1920 pixel resolution. The handset runs
Android
6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by a quad-core
Qualcomm
Snapdragon 820 processor. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi 5 comes with dual-sim functionality and also incorporates a fingerprint and an infrared sensor. For photography, it comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash, along with a 4MP front snapper.
Xiaomi recently launched its Mi Band 2 fitness band in China at a price of CNY 149, or around Rs 1,500. The Mi Band 2 features a 0.42-inch OLED display that shows health information along with other stats, a heart rate monitor and other functionalities.
Besides a heart rate sensor, the Mi Band 2 can track sleeping patterns and also count the steps taken using the updated pedometer. It sports a hypoallergenic silicone band and is IP67 rated as well, thus makes it water resistant.
