is a dual-SIM handset that features a 3.8-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) resolution TFT LCD display with 16 million colour spectrum. It is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz, clubbed with 2GB RAM. Besides sporting a 16GB inbuilt storage, the handset also supports microSD card slot with up to 128GB storage.
The connectivity features in Galaxy Folder 2 include 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and USB connectivity. In addition, the flip phone has an 8MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and can record full-HD videos. A 5MP front-facing camera is also included in the handset. Measuring 122x60.2x15.4mm, the smartphone weighs 160 gram and is backed by a 1950mAh battery. The battery is rated to deliver a 4G standby time of up to 318 hours.
In terms of design, the Galaxy Folder 2 shares almost the similar build as its predecessor. The original Galaxy Folder was launched last year by Samsung in South Korea. The smartphone came with same display size but with a lower 8GB inbuilt storage, lower 1800mAh battery, same rear camera and a lower 2MP front-facing camera.
Samsung recently issued a global recall for its latest flagship phablet Galaxy Note 7 after reports of battery explosion. In India, the company is giving Gear VR headset free of cost to those who pre-ordered the Galaxy Note 7 phablet and are still waiting for their devices to ship.
