Samsung announces discounts on Note 5, S6 and more
NEW DELHI: Samsung today announced discounts for its consumer electronics products including smartphones. The company will be hosting its ‘Make for India Celebrations’ offers between April 29 and May 15.
The Galaxy Note5 single SIM variant will cost Rs 42, 900 while the older flagship S6 can be purchased for Rs 33,900. Buyers can also avail 10% cashback on debit and credit cards for all transactions.
The company also announced that ‘No extra Cost’ EMIs will be available in 3, 6, 9 and 12 months tenures from leading banks. Buyers have an option of owning the device by making an initial down payment of Re 1 and the remaining through 10 easy EMI’s from Bajaj Finserv or Capital First.
The new Galaxy A7 (2016 Edition) and A5 (2016 Edition) will be available at Rs 29,900 and Rs 24,900 respectively while the Galaxy Grand Prime at Rs 8,250.

On the television and home theatre system purchases, consumers will get the option to avail up to 20% cash back on MRP and EMI facility. On select models of LED TVs, consumers will get a free Samsung Home Theatre System worth Rs 19,990. An extended warranty of 2 years will also be valid for specific models purchased during the offer period. AirTel HD DTH offers are also being made available on the purchase of select models of televisions.
The company has also announced attractive offers for microwave ovens, washing Machines and refrigerator. Consumers can get a free Galaxy Tab on the purchase on select refrigerators. They can also exchange their old refrigerators for up to 18% off on MRP under on select models. All of Samsung’s 5 star & Digital Inverter ACs will come with the Free Standard Installation offer.
