NEW DELHI: After Xiaomi unveiled its flagship Mi 5 smartphone recently at MWC, Barcelona, it is now time for its competitor OnePlus to announce its next flagship. The company reportedly will launch its
Technology news website GizmoChina reported that the specifications of the upcoming flagship were revealed on bench marking app AnTuTu. The device appeared as OnePlus A300. While there are no official confirmations, going by the specs,it can be be easily identified as the OnePlus 3.
The OnePlus 3 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, according to the report. It will feature a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a pixel density of 400ppi.
It will run Android Marshmallow-based Oxygen OS with 16MP rear camera and a 8MP selfie camera.
Xiaomi’s flagship Mi 5 is expected to be launched in India by April.
Xiaomi Mi 5 comes in three variants:
*1.8GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, 32GB storage, 3GB RAM, 3D curved glass body
*2.15GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, 64GB storage, 3GB RAM, 3D curved glass body
*2.15GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, 128GB storage, 4GB RAM, 3D ceramic body
The three Xiaomi Mi 5 variants are priced at 1,999, 2,299 and 2,699 yuan, respectively. This translates to approximately Rs 21,000, Rs 24,000 and Rs 28,000 in India by currency conversion.
