Micromax launches two Android Lollipop smartphones under Rs 3000
NEW DELHI: Micromax today launched two Android smartphones - Bolt Supreme and Bolt Supreme 2, at Rs 2,749 and Rs 2,999 respectively. Both devices run Android Lollipop and have a similar set of specifications. The Bolt Supreme comes with a 3.5-inch display and is powered by 1,200mAh battery. On the other hand, the bigger Bolt Supreme 2 sports a 3.9-inch display and 1,400mAh battery.
Both smartphones offer dual-sim functionality and 3G support. As far as hardware specifications are concerned, each of the two smartphones is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory, further expandable up to 32GB. On the camera side of things, each phone has a 2MP rear camera and VGA front-facing shooter.
Recently, the company also launched its Canvas Evoke smartphone. The phone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and features a 5.5-inch HD display. Under-the-hood, the handset packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 processor clubbed with 3GB of RAM.
The Canvas Evoke comes with a 13MP autofocus rear camera along with a 5MP fixed focus front-facing camera. Other features include 16GB of in-built storage and a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and micro-USB.
